The founding of the department goes back to the inception of the College in 1975. The department offers a one and half year Front Office Operations Certificate Course, and also lecturers Front office Management to Hotel Management students.

    • Guest Relations Techniques
    • Front Office Cashiering and Outlet cashiering
    • Front Desk Techniques
    • Management Development Programme: It is carried out once a year usually in June for Front office Managers and general Managers in the industry.


This is a one- and - half year programme that prepares students to effectively work as Receptionists, Guest Relations officers, Reservation Agents, Cashiers and Night auditors. During training students undergo extensive practical training at both the college and its application hotel-Utalii Hotel. The course also includes a compulsory three months industrial attachment at the end of the course.
