The F&B Service and Sales Department is an academic department charged with the responsibility of training food and beverage service personnel.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE AND SALES COURSE

COURSE DESCRIPTION


 

This is a one and half year programme covering all aspects of Food and Beverage operations and Food and Beverage supervisory skills. In addition to the theoretical. In addition to theoretical learning, this course entails intensive Practical training at both the College’s demonstration Restaurant and its application Utalii hotel, In-training in other Hotels. There will be one intake in September every year. However a parallel course in  May  will be advertised in January.

In addition the department is working on a six months Food and beverage supervision course targeting those who have successfully completed the one year Food and Beverage service course and with a minimum of one year experience in the industry. The proposed intakes will be in May and September every year. Finally, there are plans to introduce also a Food and Beverage management diploma in future.
